Kirby Sasser Wins "The Right Stuff Award" at Space Camp in Huntsville

The fifth grade class just returned from their annual 3-day trip to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Kirby Sasser was awarded the camp’s highest and most coveted award – The Right Stuff Award. This award, named for Tom Wolfe’s 1979 book, The Right Stuff, is given to an outstanding trainee who goes above and beyond in leadership, teamwork and technology throughout the week. Kirby was chosen out of about 200 campers representing several schools. This is the 3rd time a Trinity student has won this award. Congratulations Kirby!!
